Some of Vicki's Recipes

Vicki continues to write regularly about food, and her 1990 book On The Nature of Food  is a popular volume among the cognoscenti both for its recipes and, more importantly, for its historical and anthropological insights into the background of the foods we eat. Her columns about food are syndicated in newspapers from Florida to New England. And she has just written a new book called The Taste Makers. This contains new material and was published in December 2003.

We plan to keep publishing her articles and recipes on this Web site. This will take time, so we start here with spices and dessert! Keep checking here for new goodies on a regular basis.
